Kushiyaki restaurant

Very fresh, clean flavours. Great service. The sushi and sashimi were excellent, as were the skewers. Accidentally found this little gem, but will definitely come back.

The service is pretty good. But the food is mediocre at best. The tempura dough is too thick and greasy and the shrimp isn’t very good either. I’d expect more from a la carte place. Some AYCE make better tempuras.

Bar Bincho is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. They have a large menu consisting of sharing plates, sushi, rolls and skewers. The chef/owner is incredibly passionate and friendly, often coming by the table for a chat on a slower night.Some of my many personal favourites are the Tsukemono, Tuna Tataki, Shio Cabbage, and skewers.The restaurant's interior design is chic in an incredibly chill atmosphere.

Been here a few times now. Have dined in and gotten take out. Both times when getting take out I would ask for extra wasabi and soy sauce. And they wouldn't give any. Today we ordered a large sashimi, and 4 different rolls and the girl says there's 4 packets of soy sauce In there when we asked for more. Bad service good food.

10/10 recommend to visit there! I've been craving real Japanese skewers(yakitori) since I came to Canada. This is the right place to go. I love their tasty and pretty big skewers (especially pork belly and chicken)! I want to try every single cocktails which is beautiful and unique!

Of all the things we ordered, we liked the eeliscious the most, and the macha tiramishu. The rest was ok. Sushi was not too outstanding. We should've read the reviews and order the skewers instead of normal sushi rolls. Good service though.

This basin is extremely enjoyable to pee in. Much like a steel drum, hitting different areas of the semi-sphere will produce a variety of pleasing tones, allowing the refined artist in you to craft a magnificent melody.

Foods taste and quality is very average or below. Doesn’t match up with the price tag.I don’t like the beef Tataki at all, I don’t know which parts of the cow the meat was from, but the texture was worse than most AYCE Fusion places or the beef in Vietnamese noodle soup. The meat is probably good enough to use in Chinese stir fry. And the sauce was really salty.The cabbage salad was so sad, what the heck, we ordered because we thought it would be like pickled cabbage or like kimchi style when the waitress explained to us. But not expecting only a few big pieces of plain leaves with little bit of sesame oil and sprinkle of seaweed. Totally tasteless, and they charged how much? $6-7 don’t remember. You can buy a whole head of cabbage for less then $4. I don’t think they are organic…. Anyway we didn’t even want to finish the plate even though it was an expensive cabbage “salad”The “uni” was so so, can’t say it’s yummy.The sashimi plate was not impressed neither. Didn’t like all the tuna pieces, the sockeye salmon and the shrimp were not bad.Only decent dish was the mango roll. It was the only thing I enjoyed for the whole dining experience.We didn’t seem to understand anything that the waitress was saying when we asked her able the menu items. I don’t know, may be the background music was too loud, we can’t really hear her soft voice.After $100+ for 2 of us. I am still hungry and not satisfied. Crossed off from my list.

My wife and I had a wonderful impromptu date night here. Our server Ruth was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the pork gyoza and spicy tuna roll to start. Really delicious. The gyoza wasn't greasy and had a nice crunch. We shared a beef bulgogi skewer, a salt and pepper pork belly skewer, and a chicken teriyaki skewer with two orders of fried onigiri (thick rice triangles). all of it was so good. I also ordered the garlic butter oyster mushroom skewer for myself which was really yummy. My favourite was the beef bulgogi though. We tried the Wa-style cocktail and thought it was a great signature drink. We will definitely be back for more impromptu date nights! Honourable mention to the wicked wallpaper.

Sushi and grilled skewers are fantastic! I'm so happy to eat such delicious food! Of course, I will visit again!!!!
